Kissan Sesame Rice Cutlets

Did you know sesame rice cutlets could be made this way for your kids’ tiffin box?

 

INGREDIENTS

2 cups leftover cooked rice

½ teaspoon red chilli powder

1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves

1 tablespoon finely chopped onion

1 tablespoon roasted peanuts, crushed

½ tablespoon gram flour or plain flour

Salt to taste

1 tablespoon Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup

2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Oil for deep-frying

Chaat masala

 

METHOD

1.In a bowl, combine the rice, chilli powder, coriander leaves, onion, crushed peanuts, flour and salt.  Mix well, mashing the rice with your fingers

2. Shape portions of the mixture into heart-shaped cutlets and roll in sesame seeds.

3. Heat the oil in a wok and deep-fry the cutlets till golden and crisp.

4. Remove, drain on absorbent paper and sprinkle chaat masala on top.

5. No one can eat just one, so make plenty of piping hot crispy Kissan Sesame Rice Cutlets and serve with Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup.
